NATIONAL TREE PLANTING DAY  - * Sunday 30th July 2017

Can you spare a couple of hours to help us with this project?
Sunday the 30th July is National Tree Planting Day and we will again be planting in our local area. We have over 500 seedlings to plant and the more people helping the quicker we will finish and be able to enjoy a gourmet lunch in the park.

National Tree Day aims to inspire, educate and recruit Australians to actively care for our unique land and create future generations of committed environmental custodians. Hope to see you then.
YACCA LILLA  - * Wednesday 2nd August 2017
Where: Yankalilla Community Centre
Time: 4.00pm
YACCA (Youth and Community in Conservation Action) is an environmental youth group set up to educate high school aged students about their local environment. YACCA Willunga was set up in the late stages of 2013 and has been running successfully, with the number of members skyrocketing. These members attend different schools and come from different environmental backgrounds.
YACCA LILLA will be staring at 4.00 pm on Wednesday 2nd August at the Yankalilla Community Centre for kids from 12 to 20.
At this initial meeting we will be having a visit from Radicool Reptiles where kids will be able to interact with some amazing wildlife.
Refreshments will be available and its all FREE!

NATURE'S SMOKING GUN  - Tuesday 29th August 2017
Where: Yankalilla Community Centre
Time: 1.00pm - 3.00pm
This inaugaral event will open up discussions on science in a relaxed environment.
Come, hear from and talk with Prof. Sean D. Connell -University of Adelaide Philip Roetman -University of SA and their perspective on sustainability of our natural resources on the Southern Fleurieu.
